Every child and youth in care has an assigned social worker that is also responsible for providing support and services to the foster family. The social worker is also responsible for linking foster families to other community support services (e.g. medical services) they may require to care for the child or youth.

A social worker is available during regular office hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is support when emergency situations arise after regular office hours and on holiday and weekends by calling 1-833-552-2368
